Temporary Accommodation Required Near Duisberg

Ok, so worth an ask here just in case :

As the thread name might suggest  We are looking for temporary accommodation somewhere in/around Duisburg (say half hour drive) for a month from the middle of March.

We've somehow managed to sell the house and need somewhere to base ourselves for a bit while we look for a flat so if anyone knows of anything/anybody please give me a shout.

Oh, only seeing this now...so you are sort of moving to my neck of the woods? 

With a bit more info I would be glad to help you look for something - are you looking for a small flat on a temporary basis, or just for a room? Budget-wise, what is your limit? Are there pets to be considered? Etc., etc. 

Edited to add 2 links - these housing societies are pretty big (Duisburg area) and it's always worth checking with them - best to give them a call, actually:

A friend just suggested checking Airbnb, she says her cousin often rents places through that website when he has to work in Munich for a couple of weeks and always finds good, cheap accomodation...she posted this example:
