Clitheroe - a few pub suggestions
« on: April 15, 2019, 07:31:10 PM »
There’s quite a few options in Ciltheroe but here’s a few selected suggestions based on some (reasonably) local knowledge

Bowland Brewery Tap
https://www.holmesmill.co.uk/beer-hall/
Claims to be one of the longest continuous bars in Britain with 42 hand pumps and a minimum of 24 different beers on at any one time.
Does food

The New Inn
https://whatpub.com/pubs/LAE/495/new-inn-clitheroe
Good range of beers
Good beer garden for if the weather is pleasant enough.

The Ale House

Micro pub just down the street from The Grand.  Obviously pretty small but there is upstairs seating.

You’ve definitely got the best ones there. There are loads of pubs and bars in town. The place used to have the highest pub to person ratio in Britain apparently 😵😵😵
