I hope I'm not violating any rules posting this, but since it's charitable and not-for-profit, here it is.... A fine Scotsman I know here in Moldova is doing a charity marathon to provide hospice care...
Based in Chisinau, the country's capital, I've been working here since October 2010, raising awareness and funds for the work that we do here. In Moldova, Hospice care is not as readily available as it is in the UK or elsewhere in the west and we are doing everything that we can to ensure that we are able to provide FREE care to the children and adults who need it.
At Hospice Angelus, we believe that EVERYBODY has the right to die pain-free and with dignity, and we want to continue to increase our resources so that we can provide this vital care to the 6000 people who die in Moldova of cancer every year. You can read more about us by visiting our website www.hospiceangelus.md
I'll leave the links and let you do with them what you will....
