And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me

What a player indeed. It was Deep Purple that got me hooked into rock music, a long time before I had heard of NMA.

I saw Purple with John Lord years ago and it was Lord and Atomic Rooster's Vincent Crane who made the  organ and interesting instrument in rock music. Both are gone. RIP
