NMA Radio Sessions query
« on: November 08, 2012, 05:51:54 PM »
The new Vengeance re-issue reminded me of something I was curious about the NMA Radio Sessions album. I can recall Moose saying on his website that the band had to re-record one of the tracks as something had happened to the master - and he had to pretend to be Stuart Morrow on the track - anyone know what track it was?

As far as I remember it was "The Cause".

It was indeed The Cause on the Radio Sessions. The re-release contains the original demo with Stuart Morrow on bass.

(modified to edit out my mistaken belief that the Radio Sessions version was on the new release - it's not. Doh!)

Interesting.  I was just about to post that the new Vengeance release does not list the radio session of The Cause, though it does list the demo version.  Viv, you say both are present?

The other 11 tracks from the Radio Sessions are listed.

Err... I sit corrected! Actually, I am utterly wrong - the only version on the new release is the demo version with Stuart Morrow recorded from 1981. I misheard Justin the other day. Doh! Many apologies Willard.
