no man i think that means that the producer will bring a tough sound to what is NOT a traditional guitar driven record meaning not like the last one or the one before. Fair enough u cannot play like in the 80s (unfortunately I like that bass driven sound) and not always so hard like in the TIAGD album with us going crazy singing along................will see. am very curious.

.....that sounds good! The producer Joe Barresi worked with Kyuss, QOTSA, Melvins, Fu Manchu - quite typical for Stoner / post stoner sound and on the other hand with Isis (postrock) and Clutch! I think these bands are "classic" guitar driven bands...I was a bit confused because the NMA says : "to bring a tough edge to what is not a traditional guitar-driven rock album"....maybe confused is the wrong word, let`s say I`m freaky excited :D

I love the new song and beeing a family member for over 25years I know I will not be disappointed!

Really looking foreward to hear the new tunes!!!

Oli

P.S. Justin and Michael are lucky, it`s not that cold in LA  :P

By the way I actually like the sound of this year's Bad Religion album mixed by Joe Barresi. It's not so overproduced like some of their more recent records but has a very clear and transparent natural sounding mix. Looking forward to the new NMA album mixed this way.

I know there's no release date as yet, but when is the new album due?  Is it expected to be a spring launch?

 :D  :D  :D  :D

I can't wait for this new album. It will be a MUST to crank the volume up up to 11!

As an aside: Isis' Wavering Radiant is one of the best albums ever. And Kyuss are like gods, for me... The new album will be super intense.

With the up coming gigs (going to Northampton and Sheffield) I was really hoping that the new album may have been imminent. I'm like an over-excited child!  :D Was a bit disappointed to read the updated news item on the front page regarding it's release.

"It is due for release at the end of the summer and will be followed by a full tour beginning in autumn."

Ah well at least it means more gigs to look forward too  :)
