Heartfelt thankyous!!

Hi everyone, I guess this is the best section of the forum for my post.

I just wanted to say a HUGE heartfelt thank you to all the guys in the moshpit for their prompt action last night in Manchester when I fell foul of a pit classic....the reverse head-but...and was KO'd for about a minute.

These things can be serious incidents and luckily mine was a relatively minor one. I did see a fair quantity of blood from other folks though!!

Special gratitude is due to Bruce Bryan, Paul Evans and Maggie Dave and also to the one great Ed Alleyne Johnson for looking out for me at stage-side.
Thanks also to the security staff and the medic on duty that night.

As everyone probably knows, its usually me that tends the cuts and bruises at shows but this is the first time since 1982 that I've needed help....yeah I know....like Stoney, we're gettin' too old for all this shit!!!

Anyways, thanks again to ALL you moshpit warriors, love you all and see you in London for round 2!! xx

Glad you were okay - you went down like a sack of spuds, didn't you?  Still, you looked okay in the end, especially when you had a bit of a chat with Ed....  Every cloud and all that!

Thanks guys. I had a rumbling headache on Sunday but my head is back on again and just about level. What actually happened was.... during a particularly mobile session of moshing, I fell backwards to be closely followed by someone else. It was that person's head that clashed with mine when he had a soft landing on poor ol' me.

Seems it was a night for various injuries and, in fact, the tour so far has had more than it's fair share!

So, thanks again to all involved and see you all in good shape at The Forum in London.

Glad yer ok mate! It was a fine night mate, and yer never too old just to clarify! Tho' I was suffering a number of minor injuries on Monday. lol To quote Monty Python's finest........ "merely a flesh wound!"....
