No spoilers for the UK tour, please?
« on: April 16, 2014, 09:29:20 PM »
So, a new tour is a few days away... I'll be at Warrington on the Friday... can I please ask that we don't have any spoilers as to the set list from anyone who is going to the previous dates?

Yeah, I'm not dumb enough to click on a post that says 'Bristol' gig or whatever... you folks who go those gigs should discuss it in full, as I will doubtlessly do after Warrington... just don't throw out any spoilers, particularly in any new posts like 'wow, (insert song title) was great last night...'  :-[

One of the things that I love about this band is that they never fail to surprise me... I've never missed a tour since 1990 and there hasn't been a single gig where there wasn't a song where I didn't say 'bloody hell, wasn't expecting to hear THAT one...'  looking forward to that buzz again!!!

next week is going to be a good one...

Rah! Rah! Rah! We're going to smash the oiks!

Nicely put there dear Sir  :-*

A gentle request for manners and consideration for others from us all, well said and seconded. Like you I love that 1 song each gig that makes you go "******* Cool! - they're playing that"

I'm lucky I'm going to Oxford so there's only the 1 date beforehand so I should be safe  ;D but you watch i'll put my foot in it now and say something stupid the night before Warrington.

I like to know what's coming... But don't worry I ain't quick enough in the draw to ruin things after the fleece as I've gotta get back to work the following day!

One thought how good wd it be to hear Great Expectations in this mini tour. Heard pretty much everything else over the past seven years since I got back into seeing the band live again. That wd cap it all, so probs means it won't happen as I've got more chance of winning the lottery etc lol

Ive heard it from a good source close to the band, that theyll be playing some songs from the last album. You heard it here first.
Hala (from the Anglo-Saxon word "halh", meaning nook or remote valley), until it was gifted by King Henry II to Welsh Prince David Owen and became known as Halas Owen

Are NMA only doing the one set then???? Haven't we always had set list put up after each gig? Bit surprised by this no spoilers and not knowing what they played last night. Why?

tbf, I don't think Master Ray was saying don't post anything, just don't give it away somewhere obvious. He's got the smarts not to read a thread that says Bristol setlist if he doesn't want to know what to expect.

And I reckon there will be fairly static setlists, especially as last night they ran out of songs the new drummer had learnt. He did a good job though. Cracking gig.
There's only one thing left for me to do. I'm gonna ding a ding ding my ding a lang ling long

I ballsed up the other week. Took photos at a gig (Non NMA) posted them including a set-list and was quite rightly told off. I just forgot. Some people like to know others don't.
It's a mean old scene.

Alright, you lot?  Sorry, my laptop has been down for a bit, couldn't get back to you on that one...

All I was trying to say was that NMA always throw in a few surprises in the set... I'd rather not have them spoiled. There were certainly a few surprises at Warrington, cracking good gig at a terrific venue.
