Space, I have a friend who used to live Chicago-way... things usually get a bit freezy down their way, how does that compare to the NYC experience?

Genuinely interested...

Heh. Actually what we've heard from news it sounded like you over there stayed home.
Yeah, the storm shut down the airports. 12 million New York City residents had to stay home. That means this storm dumped snow on more people than any other storm in history. Those storms in Sweden dump snow on, what, thirty-five people at most. See the diffference now between our storms and yours?

Hey, Rusco, are you a Swede? If so, I have no patience for you Swedes today. Our hockey goalie is a Swede, Henrik Lundquist, and yesterday he let in four goals to the other New York hockey team and because of Lundquist my NY Rangers lost.

I'm a Finn. Kimi Räikkönen, Mika Häkkinen, Matti Nykänen and most of all; Jari Kurri and Teemu Selänne, you know.

And Linus Torvalds too.

Just a reminder, folks, Red is the guy who puffed out his chest, made a big stand and created a thread telling the members here never to respond to posts of mine.
;D

Can we all spell HYPOCRITE so Red can look it up in the dictionary.

Well, its just as well that you can spell it Space. In your first post in your now locked "geek" topic you spat out some bullshit about myself and Master Ray, ---

"Just so you are aware of who these worthless members at this site are, I will list their names. Folks, there is no reason to read any post of theirs. They clearly have absolutely nothing to add or contribute to anything in this world. Just useless bodies amongst the good here. Don't waste your time on posts by these worthless members"

yet you have replied to posts by both of us since then  ::)

Chicago - "The Windy City" - well, I don't know how their snow totals compare to ours, but I do know their temperatures are always brutally lower than our. Has to do with Chicago being right on one of our Great Lakes. The northern Arctic winds come whipping off the massive lake and Chicago turns into Mars in the winter.

It really is lakes around here that do the damage. We have Alaska as one of our states, right. Alaska, the home of Eskimos and igloos,  a state that is walking distance to the friggin' North Pole; and yet, it is Buffalo in New York that gets more snow than any place in our country. This may sound like a load of bull, but what I am going to say now is true: just a few weeks ago in a storm that lasted a few days, Buffalo got nine feet of snow. Nine feet! We all learned that it was called lake-effect snow. Buffalo is another city of ours located right on one of our Great Lakes and it is those lakes that make cold temperatures colder and turns snow storms into things that bury buildings. Nine feet of snow in one storm! Buffalo gets stuff like that every year.

A Finn? Uhh, I'm a huge Michael Schumacher fan so I hated Hakkinen. I do like Kimi, always root for him, but, man, his post-race interviews are dreadful.

In hockey my NY Rangers in the '80s had a Finn that we all loved named Mikko Leinonen. Not exactly a household name in the USA or even Finland I bet, but we sure loved the guy in New York.

And speaking of hockey, uhhh, how shall I put this.....
WE KICKED YOUR FINNISH ASSES IN 1980 TO WIN THE OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL.
 ;D
Most people in the USA think we beat the Russians to win that medal. But nope, we beat your sorry ass team!

As comebacks go, go on give it your best shot :) :)

Throw the bait and reel 'em in

Hook, line and sinker :) :)

As before there's no need to shout :)

The main issues with some of your threads were the abusive and belittling ones, at lest this one is lighthearted and we can have a laugh.

if that's okay with you mate :)
