Northampton Roadmender Setlist & Review
« on: April 08, 2017, 07:53:57 PM »
Similar Setlist to other nights on UK leg. Band on great form and great crowd too. First time seeing My Country played live after watching NMA play since 1991  :D

Glad you had as great a night as I did in Bilston.  And cheers for clearing up a question that some of us had, on another thread, about when 'My Country' was played last!   :D

Post often, please!

Hi,

Sounds like Bilston was good too.  As for My Country, it could've been even earlier than 1991 since it was last played; it was great to see one of my favourite tunes getting an airing after seeing the band on and off over the last 26 years.  This is what makes the Army so good, the occasional gems that get thrown into sets every now and then, The Price a few years back was another prime example.

That was the only time they did 'Get Me Out' that I saw on recent setlists, no? Have they done it anywhere else this tour?

I can't find any mention.  Much as I love that track, I'm OK with it being sidelined for a bit... up until a couple of years ago, it was the one song that was ALWAYS played, like Stupid Questions was for a couple of decades.  But with so much great music over the last few years and only a couple of hours to play a diverse set... happy to not hear it for a while.  Makes it all the better to hear it again, somewhere down the road!   :)
