Yes, thanks! A very well written and fine review. You wouldn't be by chance also the author of this? Because the guy of the article is also a Guy;-)

They played "Courage." One of my faves, so....
When are these guys going to do a show in America again? My God, I live in the greatest city in the world, yet NMA would rather play some filthy dive in some one horse town called Southampton. It's incomprehensible to me.

Some light reading on the major port city of Southampton - which has been a trading port since AD70.
Whirlwind - ever wondered where those massive Cunard ocean liners go when they leave New York to cross the Atlantic?

I love this description !  :)

"‘Maps’ wraps around the listener like a giant octopus pulling you under its waves of sound into the very depths of Justin’s orchestral ocean."

Yeah, we all saw TITANIC. There's even a track on the "Titanic" soundtrack album called Southampton. If one's claim to fame is being the title of a tune on the "Titanic" soundtrack album, then you ain't doing something right.

I really do wonder why the boys from New Model Army don't wish to come to New York or America and tour. Yes, they've been here, but don't you think the biggest market should be their priority? Not talking making cash. Just saying that if you were in a band wouldn't you want your music to be heard and enjoyed by as many people as possible?

Yeah, this Guy has some good, enthusisastic and funny desriptions there:

[i"Add to this the almost psychopathic precision of Marshall Gill..." [/i]

"Army pits are as hectic as ever with a legion of mainly middle-aged maniacs crashing into each other like a bunch of heavily tattooed human pinballs."

I wonder if Guy is that guy, no i bet that;-)
