Its marginally better than some, nay virtually all of the later stuff but jeees.....somebody smash the synthesisers and take the guitars back out the cases and gives us something akin to Pablo Honey or The Bends and not bloody jazz/arty synth monotony.

Nicely put, DB, and kudos for recognition of 'Pablo Honey', hugely under-rated and a bit lost amidst the cavalcade of praise for TB and OKC...

Just listening to The Cure, 'Disintegration'... damn, Kyle Broflovski might well be right!  ;)

The second disc of 'Lost Songs'... just excellent.

I truly believe that if this compilation of unreleased tracks was released as a 'proper' album (you know what I mean), it would be one of their higher-regarded albums...
