As for DM above, great band  I like their recent albums as well.
I went to see Shiny Darkness a few years ago (2016) another great synth band.
The Frozen Autumn are another great synth coldwave band.

'The Essential Kinks' by, somewhat unsurprisingly, The Kinks.  ;D

One of those bands who I knew some of the big hits but I've been delving into their decades of tunes and, dammit, some crackers to be found that I'd never heard before.

Got my hands into Cynic's Focus album from 1993, after many years... I used to listen to this a lot, not quite sure why I'd forgotten it for a while... I can't recall having this strong ''blast from the past'' -feeling for ages! :) And this truly is an amazing album...
