Bill, I echo your words. For me the whole atmosphere seemed to change around T&C.

Perhaps it was the bigger venues?. Now that we are all getting slightly older, things down front seem more engaging with plenty of banter before, during and after the gigs.

I too feel that I have made some dear friends and long may that continue. See you all in Bradford.

Wetherspoons on City square by the town hall mate. It might be Centenary Square on the map, but it's allus gonna be CITY Square as far I'm concerned........ 8)

I know where you're coming from angel... In my opinion too, after the Impurity tour in 1990 the whole pit atmosphere changed, for the worse. Maybe that was something to do with the big influx of Levellers following after that tour (the Levs being on a crest of a wave at that time), and a bit of a sojourn into the more 'mainstream' alternative world...

Thats interesting - I used to go & watch the Levellers a bit and the whole atmosphere at gigs changed after  the 1990 army tour from quite a crusty hippy type crowd to clogs & circles & stuff.. so not sure it was the big influx of levellers fans to army shows causing issues!

Anyway - its all old news - there used to be loads of argie bargie at gigs - and now its just lots of folk having a good time

:)
