Big Trouble In Little China.  Awesome 80's cheesiness.  Kurt Russell...?  Cool as fook, as this clip, the opening sequence, demonstrates...

 ;)

A fun entertaining movie! better than the "Indiana Jones" movies! :)
Kurt Russell rocks in this film, like in all his others movies directed by "Big John"!
Another cult Carpenter movie, "The thing", has  a theatrical re-release this month in France!! 8) ;)

I quite like the re-make of the Thing too....
Tonight Im watching Signs. Possibly one of my favourite films. Mel Gibson at his peak......before he went a bit off the wall and offensive.
Hala (from the Anglo-Saxon word "halh", meaning nook or remote valley), until it was gifted by King Henry II to Welsh Prince David Owen and became known as Halas Owen

Signs is, indeed, a good film, certainly the best by M. Night Shala... Shylym... Shilami.... the bloke who did 'The Sixth Sense'.

... but at what point does it stop being CPR and start being like trying to reanimate a corpse?

My favourite Shyamalan film is "Unbreakabke"...beautiful and touching movie.

The Youtube copy of the WWWB movie was blocked in the UK, but it had a truly superb theme song from Mr Bowie, a truly under-rated tune... link here...

One of the best Bowie songs of the 80's, right up there with the 'classics'...

Similar role to the one in Interstellar if youve seen it, as a marooned astronaut. Ive warmed to him as an actor and person. Always seems to enjoy what he does.

Never thought something is blocked in the UK - only my link or some other links, too?
And an unblocker (hide my ass or something like that) can`t help you?
I had to wait more than 20 years after the first broadcast for a second one (recorded it), now you sometimes find a dvd
Ok, I know the theme of that film and I do understand why the UK leaders can`t laugh while watching

Hey Witch - sometimes a film that gives you a good cry is food for the soul  :)

Anyone seen the series Mr Robot? Been reading about that this weekend and seems like it might be worth a go.

I gave it a couple of episodes, didn't quite work for me so gave up on it, but what the heck, try it for yourself.

On a similar note, anyone tried 'The Man In The High Castle'?  Looks pretty interesting...

Missing In Action, Chuck Norris awesomeness from the 80's, the perfect film to fall asleep to when you've had too many beers for your brain to work properly...  ;)
