I disagree with the is this music review. I don't think Englishness is the correct term for NMA, If i am correct it's not very English to express emotions in such a passionate manner. From my observations it's not very English to use the terms "I feel" or even discuss emotions publicly. I could be completely wrong though and this was not meant to offend anyone.
Some of the early stuff sounded English but from Eight Strange Brotherhood onward that sound is not so dominate.
Also, it's wrong to say that only fans will like this album. I played it in my car with a passenger who had never heard the band ever and they were interested and expressed that they really liked it. It's a bit cynical to say that.
