What is the cause of most conflicts?

Far too simplistic to base most conflicts on financial and economic reasons… The roots go much deeper and have greater historical importance. We humans tend to have a very easy time relaxing in ideas of intolerance and superiority over others, especially when religious and political doctrines can be crafted to justify positions. Such variables mixed with a good dose of fear quickly become hatred when steered appropriately. If anything, we've seen this 'mastered' to a form of art.
