Master Ray you just said exactly what i was thinking (but too lazy to try and put in to words) it is all about holidays,atmosphere,change of scenery,people,new experiences,new venues.............everything different from our day to day lives.....I live in Jersey and am often told what a great place it must be to live (by people who have been here for 1/2 weeks holiday)..I have the same problems/challenges as most people have every day in the western world.

These are my all-time favourite, TOP 5 songs (all sharing the exact same song title) "HOME".
Each one is from a totally different band / artist & is completely different from the next.
Love them to bits and for an array of different reasons. 
Song at #1 = most favourite one of ALL.

Top 5 bands of whom you own the ENTIRE studio catalogue of albums... don't worry about obscurities, just the commercially released stuff... and let's not be doing something as easy as posting a band who only made one or two albums...

Prince -- the guy made 42 albums! I have them all and know every second of them all.
Beatles -- only 13 albums
New Model Army -- but I have never listened to "Winter" or "Between Wine And Blood." Saving them.
The Chameleons -- even though the post-breakup albums aren't very good
Pearl Jam -- always deliver a solid album

I only own the whole official collection of one of these bands

Yes its the obvious one

Unfortunatley I spend far too much time and money buying the other items I havent got...yet

I'm only after the re issues, test pressings, promos, imports.bottlegs etc etc
