Thanks for the review. Liked 28 days a lot, 28 weeks was OK, was unsure if 28 years was worth a watch, but sounds interesting.

The longer this century goes on, the more I feel I belong in the last one.

It's certainly worth a go if, as I said, you're not expecting a basic horror flick.  it's somewhat mind-blowing.

Anyway, for any Squid Game fans, the third and final series is now upon us, watched the first two episodes tonight and it's certainly living up to what went before.  Now I gotta watch all of it before spoilers start popping up all over the internet...   >:(
... but at what point does it stop being CPR and start being like trying to reanimate a corpse?

And now I finished Squid Game s3 and what a wonderfully involving and heartbreaking conclusion it was.

Apparently there's a US remake coming along and created by David Fincher (one of my favourite directors)... not sure how I feel about that, this show has been so great throughout, what can a US remake actually add to it or improve on it?   ::)

I gave that John Wick spin-off, 'Ballerina' a punt.  Pretty good, if you've seen any of the John Wick movies a go then you know what you're getting yourself in for.  Ana De Armas (sigh, how gorgeous she is  :) ) is an assassin, there's a revenge thing going on relating to her childhood, lots of betrayals within the assassin community elaborated on throughout the JW films and thousands of bullets are fired and gallons of blood spilt.   :D

And, yes, Keanu shows up (I don't count it as a spoiler seeing as it's in the trailers and all over the publicity material) as Mr Wick, but it's clearly one of those things where he doubtlessly picked up a big payday for not very much work and very few days on set...   ;)

Have a look at the trailer if you fancy it.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FSwsrFpkbw

OK, I'm a bit embarrassed by this (as someone who likes to keep in touch with popular culture) but I've only just gotten around to watching the Netflix show 'Narcos', the one about Pablo Escobar.  Just finished the first series and it's absolutely bloody brilliant.  Can't recommend it highly enough.   :D
