Guys,
I wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks! for coming to Poland yet again. This definitely counts as a good deed, so if the christian heaven does exist you are definitely going to get good seats, considering the distance and - i am sure - inconveniences. We enjoyed every bit of this (short) gig, and here is our account.
We arrived at Wegorzewo a few hours before NMA gig. Justin joked during the show that it took them 16 hours to get there from Warsaw. I am sure glad they got there in one piece, considering the rather uncivilized driving habits of Polish drivers, but we managed to get there in about 4hrs, not breaking too many laws in the process :-) Our bike got a nice sticker recently, to proudly announce what we believe is the best rock band that ever existed:

When we did get there we realized one thing - as far as rock festivals go, this one was either elitist, or under-advertised. The orgs mention around 4K people were there, vs. around 15K they were expecting. Sorry to see that, especially given the quality of the music - there were quite a few good bands playing, and also the beer was cheap and food was pretty digestible. Apparently this football thing that took place a few weeks back is to blame - according to the organizers people spent all the money they had on beer and didnt have the funds to come.
I was exploring the area around the main stage, looking for the familiar faces of NMA fans, and the first person we noticed was the band's technician (sorry that I don't know his name). My heart stopped when I noticed that next to the guy there is Ceri Monger, and next to Ceri Monger there stands Justin Sullivan, all of them listening to "Armia", veterans of polish punk-rock.
At this point in time my IQ dropped by a good 100, my command of English - well below the level required to order a cheeseburger. I decided it would be a good idea to thank them for coming to Poland - which I did - and later, after a few more rounds of thinking (again, with IQ of about 10, and consultancy from my dear wife - who was the one to discover NMA for us, and who makes sure we get to see every gig we can) - that it makes sense to ask for a photo opportunity. Our thinking was that we will forget about how lame it was to bother them - and I will get to keep the photo for years to come :-) So here it is:

As for the gig, the band was in top shape, we got the front row places and enjoyed the show and many favorite songs a lot. The only complaint is it was a bit short as far as NMA gigs go - no bonus set. The audience was shouting for more for a good few minutes after the band left the stage. I guess the orgs wanted to make sure the whole thing stays on schedule - but everyone really hoped the band would return on stage for more.

So once again, thanks for visting Poland again and do come again!
