Train Noises on Vengeance?
« on: July 24, 2012, 12:30:46 PM »
I think it was in the Anthology notes, it states that if you listen carefully, you can hear train noises on the Vegeance album.  Having walked past the Alaska studio, next to Waterloo station, yesterday, I was reminded of this and I have just played the album, but failed to hear any train noises! - To be fair, standing under the bridge-arch, trains sound very different to what you would expect them to! - Has anyone 'located' said noises and which tracks/times do they appear?

I've never heard train noises on it but if you listen to My Country on NRftW, with decent headphones, you can hear someone shout "smack 'em" right at the start before Rob whacks the drums.

Speaking of Vengeance - Before the fire, there was talk of a remastered version of that.  I think I read where the masters were lost.  Can anyone confirm that this will or will not happen?  Shame if they really are gone.

There was a bunch of tapes with pre-Vengeance demo's that were apparently going to be re-mastered. Justin talked about in the Bradford Broadcasting interview. It sounded like a Redux type version of Vengeance was being planned, with the remastered demo's being added to the track list........ Stuff like The Cause, Fashion, Leave Us Alone tec.........
the a set of bootlegs out there with them on. I can't remember the title tho'......... I think it's SHOT BETWEEN THE EYES. I'll check when I get home.
Most of the trax are on the Symphony Of Ghosts web site tho', free download job........... Obviously not remastered........

Sounds like the Vengeance Re-Issue is back on track! Maybe, with the re-mastering, I'll be able to hear the train noises! (or maybe removed altogether!)  :)

good news on the vengeance front - and that items are being recovered.

Do you think the train noises have anything to do with the Zion Train mix?  :P
