How to create your Avatar

Eeeeeek!! Think I'm going mad!!totally!just been trying to upload my avator from imageshack using the forum link it generates and >ke-plonk!<Sweet nothing just an empty square box after clicking away trigger happy! >Help!<I shriek! D:

It could be that your pic is too big, has to be 100 x 100 on here, maybe that's what's stopping it from getting through here.

Try using the first link I gave (Shrinkpictures) and see if it works for you after that.




EDIT - If that's not the problem then maybe you can try copying the link to your pic rather that using their Forum Link and paste it into your avatar section on here as I outlined in my original post. that might do it.

Maybe for your avatar pic alone (even if you never use the site for any other pics), you could upload your pic to Photobucket, that's the site I used for this thread amd now I use it all the time.

It might be easier for you to follow my instructions as well if you use the same links as I'v posted in it.

firstly, upload the image you want to photobucket (this may take a few moments) so it has a web address. then hover over the pic that you have chosen....choose the direct link option and copy.

return to here and paste the link that you have copied into the avatar option, being careful that your link is between the two brackets in the img][img part.

...it does work...honestly...

I've resized your pic & have emailed the link to it back to you.

Copy & paste that link into your profile bit where it says I have my own image after you've deleted the existing [I M G bits.

That should do it for you

You just have to remember that your pic can only be 100px to be accepted on here.
