I think that the Maestro deserves his own thread...so many great melodies, soundtracks that everyone know!

Which are your favourite Ennio Mprricone's (sound)tracks?

Personally, I'd say 'Once Upon A Time In America'... just wonderful throughout.

The Guardian did a great list when it was announced he had died, including some tunes I've never heard from films I've never seen...   https://www.theguardian.com/music/2020/jul/06/ennio-morricone-10-of-his-greatest-compositions#comment-142113749

(although they did miss out his greatest romantic theme, Cinema Paradiso, which seems like a bit of wilful ignorance on their part...  >:()

Can I offer a trio of rather less well-known tunes from his back catalogue?

My favourite are:

WHITE DOG...Wonderful haunting soundtrack for an incredible heartbreaking Samuel Fuller movie...if you haven't seen this film i strongly warmly recommend to you to see it! it's blunt deeply moving and still relevant unfortunately:

I also think The Untouchables soundtrack is just perfect throughout.
