Just bought mine. It chucked 4 t-shirts in the basket automatically which I whittled down. Im guessing its for the watching with family aspect.

I can at least watch without some fool yakking over it. Just need cardboard cut outs of Shush, Master Ray et al for the concert experience  ;D

Yeah,  :-\  I'm still having shit luck getting into the shop.  :(  I can't figure out where it is, exactly, that I'm screwing up.  :-[

Ohhh, Bunny, man, the NO (crowd) talking is going to be my favourite part!  As members of the audience, we'll be able to focus and hear so much clearer, better.  Especially during those silver and gold moments of spoken words between the songs, coming from Mr. Sullivan himself... well, that is, if the gentleman feels the desire, urge, want or need, to utter anything further, to any or each of us.  I seriously love those moments.  For me, they matter just as much as the music and songs, themselves, do.  They are just as beautiful, bright, treasured, meaningful, important, special, sacred.  They add hidden sparkle and warmth to every single NMA/JS/RSC gig.  Just wish tapers would keep those bits in when uploading clips to YouTube an the like.  They are ice breakers, ice breaking moments, that set the mood, pace, vibe, gist, essence of a gig.  Well, I certainly believe so, at any rate.

Even though, in very many ways, it won't be anything at all like a real, true, physical NMA gig, it'll still be powerful, blinding, superb!  For me, I just have this gut feeling that it's going to feel as though we'll be watching them as they might be, when they rehearse or record together.  That's going to be absolutely thrilling to witness.  I can't articulate what I'm trying to say here properly - and without me being or coming off sounding salacious -  this particular NMA gig will definitely feel much more raw, naked, heavy, profound, stripped... even though they'll all be plugged in, electric.  I just hope that all 5 of them; JS, MD, DW, MG & CM will be able to still feel the profound love and intense energy coming through the wires from those of us who'll be virtually attending this most special 2020 NMA gig.  I know it'll be so, for me... it always is.  Love 'em.

Just need cardboard cut outs of Shush, Master Ray et al for the concert experience.  ;D

lol, that's too funny Bunny!  ;D  I like the thought of that.  Thanks for the chuckle Bunny... I really needed a good one today.  :)

20 years ago I had my party alone with watching the stream on a shabby computer ...
But thanks to NMA with helping their fans posting how to watch it (and some hints how to download the stream while watching or to download it later)  ;)
Not sure, today I know enough to download the stream again at the same time I watch it on my tv (connected as a monitor with my notebook) ...

Happy as much as I was long time ag to be part of the audience of this special gig  :) :) :)
And me, I`ve got a black place in my heart
Still got this hole in me
Perhaps - I am the master of nothing?

I'm really looking forward to this! At least a date in the near future to look forward too.
I think it will be a lonesome party for me, alone in my living room, and i also have to figure out how to watch this with my equipment. If it were a youtube stream i could listen to it with my stereo and watch it on my screen, but i think they will use another platform, so i guess i'll have to figure out how to connect my laptop with the stereo and hope there will be no lag in sound and image then. I will need space to dance, i will be loud and celebrating, kind of already fearing to get carried away and disturb the neighbours..;-)

But i'm also used to dance and sing on my own in my room..i have these moments when i need to move my body to the music.

I think it would be cool to have some friends to watch together, but in this case i wouldn't want anybody there who is not really into it. When i go to concerts, most of the people i know who come with me are more curious and kind of like the band, but they don't love them and we always split before the show and meet afterwards. So i don't think i will invite those.

How are you thinking you're going to celebrate this?
Have you plans for a bigger meeting?
Will you make room in front of the tv to build towers and have a moshpit going?
Will you take of your shirt?
;-)

Just playing with thoughts here...

I'm trying to imagine how this special event will play out. A long awaited concert, streamed live, everybody in their homes watching it. Because we cannot meet, because there is this "thing" (The Thing;-) going on...
So i pictured myself enjoying the moment, being moved by the music, dancing on my own..

So how about we all take our damned, brainfckn, concentration disturbing mobiles and film a short clip of ourselves watching the stream... 8)
And later they can intercut it in the recording..
I would propose everybody is doing it while vagabonds (if it is on the setlist)

Or we could "fake " it. Why not? Everything is fake..aaarghhhh...so what i mean is, we let some video or live recording play in our homes and do it like it was the live-stream and sing and dance to vagabonds. the we send thousands of minutes of recording to nma and they can intercut it while the stream is playing...
 8)

Or dear, i do so miss a gathering, dancing, singing, body on body with top-naked sweaty people...

ever tried. ever failed. no matter.
try again. fail again. fail better.
