...
Same here, Ghosttrain!
It's all I've been listening to for the past three hours or so. I know, I know... I'm mental. Of course I am. harmless warm lol, but I'm definitely NOT bored though. No word of a joke, I could listen to Mr. Sullivan's voice 'til kingdom comes and the cows come home yet still, never tire of it. There aren't many voices in this world that have that kind of strength and ability. I don't know what the 'GOD' or whomever /whatever put in there when he/she/it/they created JS, but his voice is what originally drew me in all those decades ago. Not the face, not the body, but the unmistakeable, unique and somehow inexplicably familiar voice. It was and still is, Mr. Sullivan's voice, words, and the music that accompanies it, him. Hmmm. Maybe he's my Pied Piper, our Pied Piper? If so, I have only a couple requests... please, 'lead us not into temptation' and always out of the darkest of darkness / irreversible darkness.Had another thrilling chance at trying to decipher Mr. Sullivan's emotive, moving, soul-shifting, profound and beautiful words. I've posted my lyrics attempt below. If anyone spots any errors, however slight, please jump into this thread and kindly point them out, correct them for us? Thanking whomever does so, in advance here, right now. Thank you.

I think "Surrounded" is going to be one of those fantastic recordings that one must play from beginning to end in order to get the ultimate, absolute best out of the listening experience. Just like "Navigating By The Stars", in that way, yes, but I feel like "Surrounded" is going to be much heavier, darker, emotionally speaking, more melancholy. This second solo offering from JS is going to rip right into us, our minds, hearts, souls. I don't know, it's just a vibe I'm getting. And I love it, can't wait!
Clean HorizonIn the long and broken night,
Sticky with a bad dream.
You see the faces of the past,
Slowly floating downstream.
Like thieves coming in the dark,
To steal away your halo.
And all the briars and the thorns,
Scratching at your window.
You say a clean horizon is all that you need.
With nothing heavy in your hands,
Nothing dragging at your feet.
Sometimes you count the cost,
Of everything you've been through.
And all the wreckage of those lives,
Strewn all around you.
And now you have to be careful, where you tread.
Trying not to remember what you can't forget.
I've seen you tearing at yourself, to shed your skin.
And how you can't stop, once you begin.
It clings to you, again and again.
For that clean horizon, you'd do anything.
And oh, that clean horizon is always the dream.
With nothing heavy in your heart,
Or dragging at your feet. The video made for it perfectly captures the essence, weight of the sadness within the tune, as well.
