JS on Couch riffs podcast

Bit of a repost from Twitter,  not sure if already mentioned on here :

Nice interview, really chilled host and the length gave time to have a good retrospective and look at current and future projects.

Always enjoy hearing the stories behind the songs and the work and the  ideas behind a record.

Oooh!  Didn't catch this last night.  Off to listen to this one right now.  Thank you for sharing it here of the forum, fiddlesticks! :)

EDIT:  That was one of THE fcukin' best 1.5hrs+ with JS, ever! 8)  Would've been even better had the gentleman interviewing JS more often and effectively promoted / plugged JS' latest solo release, during the course of the great interview.  In particular, the interviewer could've mentioned the album's title a bit more and at least played a track off "SURROUNDED" (assuming he was given a proper copy or had legit access to the digital album version, seeing as he's a media sort... I think), especially at the end of the piece.  Then again, I don't know the interviewer's podcast at all, nor its format, style.

Still fantastic though, as I'm already a long-time devout  JS/NMA/RSC  aficionado, enthusiast, fan.  Totally digging all of these JS interviews!  Certainly hope they keep coming.  Whether done in audio, video or print form... they're all 'meaty, beaty, big and' juicy, mindful and soulful treats!  I could listen to the man 'til deaf do me part and still never tire of hearing Mr. Sullivan.  He's completely fascinating, on all levels, as far as I'm concerned.  It's an absolute joy and utter thrill, every single time.

Cheers to all the interviewers that have presented a platform and shown an interest in JS/NMA's work, EAR music / EDEL for setting these interviews up, but especially to JS for sitting through and doing all of them, and making them thoroughly enjoyable, interesting.  I know interviews can be seriously daunting (at times), but we all love you the more for them, so thank YOU  Mr. Sullivan!
