Justin Bury 17th October 2021 (photos)

Hi all

I know it's sometimes a bit quiet around these parts, but Facebook and I don't get along, so I'll link these pics here.
The gig tonight was really good. Jess Silk (minus mandola player) played a characteristically full-on opening slot. My lad bought a CD in the break and mentioned that her Spanish civil war song had brought back memories of his high school history. She went down very well with the crowd.
There was a lot of love in the room for Justin, who sat to play throughout the gig. A good selection of tracks from Surrounded had an airing, as well as some old NMA favourites. Of course,  we all joined in with the chorus for Bad Old World. So much energy, talent and poetry.
Unlike some of you hardcore folks, we've only done three gigs in this tour,  but it never gets old. Have met some top people who we hope to catch up with in Nottingham.

So, to the pics...

Cheers Ghosttrain. I'm not sure about Facebook - like you I never signed up. (But then I tend to stay away from most drugs  ;D  ).

Anyway - this is where the cool kids are!

Great photos! Yes, everyone is over on Facebook, unfortunately. I much prefer forums but people just aren't into them anymore these days.
