Thessaloniki 9 April
« on: February 07, 2022, 09:21:45 PM »
Hi all
We just planned to go to Thessaloniki with the whole family (I mean the "blood" one or it will be too many people...ah ah...)
Anyone going?

We have tickets for Athens and Sofia but can't find any flights/trains on the Saturday or Sunday to get us over to Sofia in time for the gig (from either Athens or Thessaloniki) - is anyone else going on to Sofia? if so can you share how you have managed to get there - Many thanks

I think the bus is the best way to get from Thessaloniki to Sofia. Takes 5 hours and costs about £20 -

And I thought I was adventurous booking Port Talbot  ;D
Hala (from the Anglo-Saxon word "halh", meaning nook or remote valley), until it was gifted by King Henry II to Welsh Prince David Owen and became known as Halas Owen

Me and a few others were lined up to do Athens to Sofia originally.   I need to weigh it up now as I hadn't clocked the clash with Therapy? and already have a clash with T? London gig on 09 April, so a bit reluctant to miss Manc too.   Typically, nothing happens for years and then it's clash central!

Agree - bus looked like most realistic Thessa - Sofia option.

that s right. I just received the NMA newsletter with the good news. My wife bought tickets and flights etc. This was supposed to be my present for my birthday wtf. I guess we will go anyway during school holidays in Greece as planned and once again no New Model >Army gig. It really sucks.
But we need to get reimbursement for the tickets as most probably we will not be able to go in November.

Hi all
I just wrote to these guys organising the concert and they state that the concert is not cancelled but postponed and that the tickets are valid.....
thanks a lot but  we bought a ticket for the 9th April and we come from Berlin the whole family. That means we could have come on the 9th april not months later. What bullshit.
I hope the geniuses will reimburse and quick or I ll get really pissed.

This is the reply I got so far:

"Hi Simon,

The concert has NOT been cancelled, but postponed to November 5th.

Tickets remain valid

Best regards,
