To everyone who frequents this noticeboard / forum, :)

Did any of you attend last night's solo JS show in Paris?  There still aren't any songs entered for the date of May 30th up at setlist.fm.  It'd be bittersweet to hear all I missed.  It was in Paris, surely some of you attended.  I'd love to hear about it, even if you can't recall parts of it too well.  Anything bit will do.  It doesn't take much to make my day, especially when it comes to all things NMA/JS/RSC-related.

To Guillaume, :)

I don't mean to put you on the spot, were you able to go to the concert? ???

Any and all replies welcome.

In good faith...

I would say the Setlist was a lot like the one from the 29th. It was in two sets, one of 45 mn then about 1h - 1h15.

Amazing gig, Justin practiced his French, lots of really cool stories in between songs, stuff about differences between French and English, and about purity, brexit and so on … as usual, funny and intelligent.
Went with my kids, funny to notice for the first time that my 7 years old knew all Headlights lyrics by heart 😁

I will not give you the proper setlist because I would not remember correctly, but, as said, a LOT like 29th, an excellent night !

Yes, i was in Paris!  ;)

A very good concert, very intimate (we were 100-120 i guess) and the performance was intense and touching.

I've even spoke briefly to Justin Sullivan after the concert, despite my poor English and despite me being shy, clumsy and very intimidated i've asked him 2 or 3 questions...that someone should make a career interview or a documentary about the band in France because they deserve to be a bit more known here and also i was intrigued that the band never plays "Nothing touches" live, it's one of my favourite NMA acoustic tracks, so i"ve asked Justin Sullivan why!  :)

A very good evening...i hope there will be more videos of the concert on Youtube but here's one:

Coming With Me
Unforgiven
28th may
The Attack
Devil
Headlights
Over the Wire
Clean Horizon
Stone and Heather
Where I Am
Passing Through
Strogoula
You Weren't There
Sun on Water
Fate
Snelsmore Wood
No greater love
Marrakesh
Ballad of Bodmin Pill

Damn, my kids wanted to wait for him to say hello, I said he will probably don't come, because it was really late for a school night, and I wanted to put them to bed. I will act as I never saw your post, Guillaume :)

I don't remember exactly the first part of his answer, he was a bit surprised by my question and laughed if i remember well then he said "But we have 250 songs" suggesting that the band can't play all of them of course!
But maybe that he will remember my words this evening and that the band will play sooner or later this beautiful underrated "Nothing touches" ha ha

Also, when he signed/dedicated for my brother the record of "Navigating by the stars", he was amazed by the wave/sea picture inside the album, saying something like it was an incredible gorgeous picture...i found his words relevant, because it shows so well his long time obsession/passion for the sea!
