Without a doubt, Justin's first solo album is among my favorites of all time.
I work at an all Vinyl shop in NJ called Factory Records ( please visit if you can) So while ive never stopped buying records, I buy a lot more these days.
Navigating by the Stars was recently shown on US Amazon as a double LP with some extra tracks. I jumped on it when I saw it.
I'm wondering listening to it. Twilight Home (maybe my favorite song on the album) sounds terrible. Was the new vinyl versin properly mastered to record or was this done from a digital source?
The rest of the album sounds wonderful, just that one track sounds WAY overcooked and distorted.
Was this maybie something I missed on the CD copy? Was perhaps that track originally pieced together from a separate session and perhaps at a "lesser" recording quality than the rest?
Thoughts?
Still a brilliant record, among my favorites happy to have it on Vinyl
