Eggebek - Shelter Festival
« on: August 13, 2023, 08:02:34 PM »
After a two and a half hour drive, we arrived at a former military airport in Schleswig-Holstein/Germany.
The motto "the best ager festival" was perhaps a little unfortunate. I suddenly felt so old...
Very mixed audience. The stage was in a former Tornado hangar.
Paul tried very hard to get a good sound. That didn't seem to be easy in that building. By the way, thanks for the setlist.
Short talk with Speedy at the merchandise stall with very good news. Very very good news! ;)

Setlist for the gig yesterday in the middle of nowhere, named Eggebek.

No Rest

I Love The World

Cheers,
S.

Greetings, Forsaken at the gates. :)

Wonderful and kind, generous post!  Thanks for making / taking time out of your day to write about the experience.  Your recollections, thoughts, insightful details, new NMA news-tease, review and sharing of NMA's entire setlist were appreciated more than you can imagine.  As someone who had no chance of attending the concert myself, I find reading your post (and posts like these = fan reviews, etc.) very uplifting, enjoyable.  How terrific too, it was to see, the awesome, long NMA setlist littered with so many encores!  I'm certainly not accustomed to that from festival gigs especially.  Thrilled you were able to make the journey, be there in person.  Hope you'll get to see NMA somewhere, sometime before year's end.  If you do, I genuinely hope you'll post about it here on the noticeboard / forum.

Have a nice one...
everyone, everywhere.

Found a couple of clips for this particular NMA gig.  Both uploaded by YouTube's Maciej Orzechowski.  Enjoy!
