Interesting... I'm still thinking whether I'd be able, once in a lifetime, to read the lyrics before actually listening to the new album. That would feel like a different approach... Has any of you tried it before, with NMA or anyone else? Is it possible to even to do that, when burning inside to listen to the new stuff??

Looks interesting to me, too. But I very rarely am anywhere close when I try to get a sense of an NMA song based on its title.

Won’t stop me speculating in my mind!

Track lengths are showing on some digital platforms. Looks like a lot in the 3:30-3:45 range, a couple closer to 5:00ish. I love the longer “epics”!

INtersting titles, I can imagine reflections of the current state of the world being reflected in the lyrics. Idumea has me thrown though. Google search shows several different meanings, mostly biblical
The longer this century goes on, the more I feel I belong in the last one.

Gotta say, I thought First Summer after was interesting. I Did Nothing Wrong....first listen, not sure, second listen it got me. Love the rockier end of it and the vocals are superb.

It's still hard to tell the direction of the new album..recent gigs have been heavy with "dog n wolf" stuff so maybe it'll be back to the chilled out proggy stuff?.."First summer after" fits with that and is abit underwhelming for my taste...but "I did nothing wrong" is very much the antithesis of that and has the anger and energy of yesteryear...so who knows..maybe it'll be both!...now that would work...anyhow they won't care and do what they want as we know...which is kinda cool.

I think, like every album, it will take a few plays, we'll all get it and be happy.
