Album Day 2025

Hi all,
Just in case you missed it, Thunder And Consolation is getting an Album Day release on Saturday 18th October. It's a double LP with extra tracks.

Thanks for jumping in here with this major news!  I missed out on picking up the vinyl the first time around (was always sold out when I went looking for it in the shops), so I definitely don't want to miss it this time.

Where did you see the update, though?  I don't see any mention of it in the NMA shop or on the band's official website.  Please post a link?

The 'No Rest' vinyl reissue got picked up by the official NMA shop, not that long ago.  Hope they'll stock a few copies of 'Thunder & Consolation' soon, too.

I had no idea this was a thing.

The company PLG UK Catalog seem to be Parlaphone, who had something to do with the sell-off and acquisition of EMI's back catalogue some years ago.

For a moment there I hoped the rights to the EMI years had been bought back, as was once the plan, but didn't happen for numerous complicated reasons.

Anyway, it doesn't seem to add anything over the EMI extended CD release and I still have my original vinyl, so I'm not too worried about this, although...

Great news about this re-release of THUNDER AND CONSOLATION! It'll make a lovely double LP under the Christmas tree! And maybe NMA will finally play "Nothing Touches" live?
