I'm not suprised the forum is still going at all..NMA do things there own way..if no one else has a forum anymore you can be sure they will!
And yes definetly keep it running...there has been a big upsurge in posts in recent months and I learn new and insightful stuff on the band and many other aspects of music and life every week when I look in.. from the intelligent witty and thoughtful people who post here.
Maybe have a refresh in some way though and remember to keep any news updated though Vic!..Faecesbook etc is always ahead these days and that's where people are going alot now I guess.

Not much surprises me anymore.
The longer this century goes on, the more I feel I belong in the last one.

Tonight I will try and post on at least 10 posts in an effort to kick a little more life into this once-great Forum...

(Bear in mind it's been my day off and I met up with a couple of friends for a beer garden kind of afternoon, I can't promise much of it will make sense...  :D)

Yes, in one way quite surprised but not in another.

It is a shame that it isn't lively like it was in thon days of our 'youth'. It certainly produced some interesting moments and debates.

It still remains a valuable source of information, so perhaps some now tend to read it more than contribute to its discussions.

I'm quite content to check in a few times per week and have no complaints if it's a slow news week.

At least there's some new music to enjoy.   ;)

Funny you should ask. I was active on the noticeboard in the late 90s-early 2000s and just recently thought about revisiting. And here I am/it is!

This is about as close as I get to any form of social media. So, I hope the board persists, even if it isn't as heavily trafficked as it used to be. Though I have seen more than a few NMA gigs over the years, the band hasn't visited my region in over a decade; it's reassuring to connect with other fans here.
