C'mon, it's a Christmas tradition amongst us folks!    ;D

It seems like the big straw lad has survived the last couple of years, maybe the security got a lot better, but just inn case anyone wants to take bets on whether the traditional burning will happen then this is the place to do it!  ;)

You lot seem to cherish the thought of this poor chap burning, I mean what's he ever done to you?  He just wants to give Christmas joy to the fine folks of Sweden!  Evil, every last one of youse. 

I predict and pray that the Gavel Goat will stand resplendent for the whole of Christmas!

I'll pick 19th. You gotta love the Wikipedia page of The Goat. "Repeated Destruction by Fire" must be one of the most metal subheadings of all time and, incidentally, the name of the newest song of my imaginary grind death band. Other songs inspired by the article being "Survived With Damage", "Method of Destruction" and "Pecked to Pieces by Jackdaws".

To be fair, it's very difficult to compete with the existing ones in grossness and offensiveness so I haven't yet  decided on the name.

Aw...well it makes a change from 'burned down', 'eaten by birds' or 'hit by a car' as has happened on previous years...

Well, our old pal Shush picked the 28th, the destruction date of the goat if not the method, so I guess he wins it this year!
