I'll be traveling from the States to Turkiye for the show with Patti Smith!  8)
Anyone else going and would like to meet up in Istanbul before the show?

Seeing this has reminded me of one of the songs Nelson used to do with his side-project "Trip and Stumble", which was Flanders and Swann's "Istanbul not Constantinople".  Sadly I won't be there for the gig, but what a combination!

We are in Istanbul and staying in the Cihangir district, near Taksim Square, if anyone wants to meet up.
We are also planning to visit the Asian side of the city on Saturday and will definitely check in at Karga…
