What takes your attention these days?
« on: June 03, 2026, 09:38:15 PM »
Oh, well, if not happy, nor sad or angry, what is it that will take your attention?

Something you keep thinking over and over again. Is there a question or some kind of a challenge you keep thinking on - maybe a job or some kind of a game, task to do or maybe a goal to achieve?

What takes my attention at these days it's that I'm building a house, a building, with my wife. The timeline to do the things is mostly In my head. Counting weeks and things to do before a next stage of level of renovation will come. If I'll get lazy it'll mean more expenses.

But I'm sort of happy we're at this point. Everything will end at some point and this is what I've hoped for years so I'll take it as it comes.

Just trying to focus on the activities I love and the few people I care about whilst trying to ignore on the absolute cavalcade of shite that the world is nowadays... I've never been more despairing of humanity in general than I am right now.

Another happy message from your old pal MR!   ::)   ;)

Oh yea the shite is spinning incredibly fast and high. It's more than recommended to have some xtra escapism in life to survive and stay sane at these days. I often think about my departed father that if he'd still live he wouldn't believe what a joke the world had became.

Cheers, MR, it's been a long time. Btw, you known what? Once, many years ago, you wrote about things concerning heart health and strange feelings in the chest. Now I have probably the same issue. Been at the doctors and things are getting followed now on.

Hope it's nothing, pal.  Never EVER ignore stuff going on in your chest (and I say that to anyone else here who might be reading this). I experienced a heart attack where I had very little pain and just mild sweatiness and breathlessness and I was told that if I'd left it another hour or so then I would have died.  It's only because I went on the internet to Google my symptoms and was subsequently told to ring an ambulance immediately that I'm still here.

On the other hand... there's a ton of chest related symptoms that could be something very minor.   ;)  Hopefully you're in the latter catagory.
