Howdy Master Ray. I have been listening to FF since the Mid 90's  I have tried getting into the last 2 albums by them and to me there is something lacking It's like they are just going thru the motions when I got Obsolete That was their crowning achievement then Digimortal  that was when the band was at it's best the singer had that ability to change his voice from growling madman to Avenging Archangel in a blink  which is a rare in a singer  I love that about this band. Now the new stuff I just have not found that groove that got me hooked the 1st time yet in the new stuff

Thanks for getting back to me, sir!  Like you, this is a band I used to love... I'm old enough to remember when they were the hot new metal band in town!  DEMANUFACTURE blew my mind and, as you said, OBSOLETE is a bloody masterpiece.  Since they reformed... it's been a mixed bag.  I really like ARCHETYPE but since then... it does sound like a band going through the motions.  I ain't seen them live in a long time and I hear that Burton C Bells voice (which used to be magnificent) is nowadays shot to hell.  Damn shame.
