Stadiums... not a fan.  You're usually a few hundred feet from the stage and most of the bands sound drifts off into the air... plus the toilets facilities...  >:(

That said, they can occasionally be great.  I saw The Stone Roses in 2012 at Heaton Park... a muddy field on a cold day (despite it being June), nowhere to sit down, dodgy support acts, it could take a half-an-hour to get a drink.... but when the band came on, it was ******* brilliant.  They played a blinder and it was one of the best gigs I ever saw.

That's what I like about seeing NMA. They always seem to play the "just the right size" venue to make it a good night.

Well, Warrington Parr Hall is, IMO, just the right size for NMA!

You will love it.

not saying i haven't enjoyed stadium gigs. pink floyd at wembley in the 80s was special. saw u2 in croke park in the mid 80s and they were spotless. and other venues with thousands upon thousands of people

but, give me dean white and justin sullivan in a pub in galway or a basement in dublin or NMA in a tiny bar in boston any day.

Listening to Metallica's 'Master Of Puppets' album for the first time in a long time... IMO, the best metal album of all time.

Lana Del Ray - Born To Die...

I heard one single, didn't like it much but I heard some good things so gave it a go... quite liking it.  Sort of a chillout album.  Kinda of David Lynch soundtrack stuff with a bit of lush orchestration and hip-hop beats going on in the background...   ???

I tried with Lana del Rey, I really did. I couldn't. She seems not to sing, rather swoop around in search of some indiscriminate lazy pitch... but each to their own, and if you enjoy it, great! I'm sure I like a lot of things other people can't stand.

Me, I'm listening to Kate Miller-Heidke's wonderful album "Nightflight".

Ok. Me too listening to a wide range of different types of music. Nicholas Lens "Flamma Flamma" for example.
