 Queensryche - I Dream in Infrared. 8)

Agree totally! What an EXCELLENT song from excellent album and band. "Rage For Order" LP brings a lot of nostalgic memories from 80's. Qüeensryche were authentic in mixing virtuoso heavy rock, progressive side and inspirational story telling in lyrics. There's no other of a kind.

I only switched on to Queensryche after Empire which was a great album. Didnt like the earlier stuff tbh. Saw them live once and it was aweird experience. Geoff Tate wheeled in a wheelchair at the start of one song, cant remember which, but it was sooooo cheesy.

So as a result of this topic, currently listening to The Bridge. Very personal. I have dad issues lol

We Both Go down Together- The Decemberists.

I noticed most of the songs posted are old punk or metal. I was wondering if anyone else like any other genres? I like some punk and metal but tend to gravitate more toward indie-rock and singer-songwriter.

I have a broad taste in music tbh. Not too keen on dance music but occasionally Ill like one or two. Cant stand modern "soul" music.

TV Stars by the Skids which was the B-Side of Into The Valley.  It's the same version that's on the single as I managed to get a full copy of the gig it was from.  Loved The Skids as they were responsible for the musical direction I took

A, can you point me in the way of some good Frank Turner stuff?  Only heard the last couple of albums and there seems to be a wealth of material out there, would like to know where to go to next.  Cheers, mate.

Just dug out my copy of JJ72's first, self-named album, not listened to this in a while...

Excellent stuff, one of the great forgotten bands from the 90's... bit Smashing-Pumpkins'y... and dammit, did I have a thing for the bass player...  ::)

Here's the video for track 1, October Swimmer, if you like it, you should deffo check out this band...
