The new Manic Street Preachers album, FUTUROLOGY... bloody excellent.  They've been going for a quarter of a century and they're still capable of giving us a new album that sounds completely different from everything they've done before... this one still has the great lyrics, melodies and JDB guitar stuff that we're accustomed to, but this time wrapped up in a Euro-eighties rock sheen... think Simple Minds before they turned into a U2 tribute band...

NMA will always be my favourite band, but it's a toss-up between The Manics and The Smiths as to who comes in at second place...  :D
