I treated myself to Bowie's new one 'Blackstar', released today... rather excellent.  His big comeback album, 'The Next Day' was kind of rock orientated, this one is more in the style of albums like 'Low', 'Scary Monsters', ''The Lodger'... a bit odd and probably needs a few listens to truly sink in, but rather compelling right from the off... I'd deffo get this one if you're into Bowie, in one or more of his various incarnations...

Also, it is Mr Bowie's 69th birthday today, so Happy Birthday, Sir!

Here's the brilliantly weird ten minute video for the title track... if it get's a bit tuneless for you, skip forwards to about 4.30... really like this tune...

Back on the Blackstar album (yes, with hindsight, it does seem like a farewell album) but it's gonna be a Bowie night, so 'Scary Monsters', 'The Lodger' and 'Heathen' are lined up...
