Two great choices Lotus............the first for very obv.reasons (see earlier posts ).......and the second for seeing Mr.Wakeman playing keys with a paint roller..... ;D...............

Not sure if I've mentioned them before, but I've recently been introduced to a band called The Slow Readers Club... absolutely love them, the first new(ish) band I've really gotten into over the last few years.  I struggle to find new music to listen to, but damn, these guys are excellent.

If any of you fancy checking out some new music from a band you're not familiar with, here's a live concert from a couple of years back,several rather excellent songs... be interested in your opinions, good or bad!

What very little of their music i have heard i like............a friend of mine saw them at Beauty Days last year and said they were brilliant.............i get the feeling they are one of those bands that are better live (imho)..and plenty of bands i love fit into that category....

Come on, those first albums had nine minute songs, three guitar solos in every song, seven different tempo changes in each song... Metallica have always been about bloat and bombast. Difference was those early albums were insanely good. Bloat and bombast can be done effectively and entertainingly.
