Listening/watching The Cramps Live At Lokerese Festival........fantastic stuff i love The Cramps 
...anybody else here fans of the band ?....
I have an album of theirs. It's fantastic, but I really felt no need to buy other stuff of theirs...I feel once you get one Cramps album you've more or less got all Cramps albums.
I play Gretsch guitars and that does have something to do with The Cramps and their insane style of rock-a-billy. Speaking of insane, two things come to mind with The Cramps:
1- their insane cover of the Hasil Adkins song "She Said." That Cramps version is one of the greatest songs ever made. Many moons ago I played it at the beach. Picture a crowded New York beach with blankets of people all right next to each other. Well, as "She Said" was playing, I am not kidding, people on the other blankets were laughing and listening to the song. They were digging it. And the end of the song when Lux sings "She said....oooooh, it feels so good" well, the whole beach was laughing hysterically. True story.
2- there's video on youtube of The Cramps playing a live gig in an insane asylum. It really did happen.
