Just eased into my cuban heeled winklepickers,slipped on my crimplene slacks and donned my turtle neck sweater listening to The Very Best Of SHANGRI LAS.......classic songs from a bygone innocent age...groovy.. 8)..

Massive Attack ''Blue Lines''..an album i have never get tired of,i have loved it since i got it when it came out in 1991 and still play it regularly now.....a masterpiece (imho)... 8)... 8)...

I don't often listen to the wireless (like i used to )...but how refreshing to hear a show like Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone which i have just discovered on BBC RADIO 6 music......incredible stuff,never thought i would hear one of my all time favourite bands GONG , last time i remember hearing them on mainstream airwaves was probably around 1975........long live great music.. 8)....

Mr.Mayer is indeed a very talented man.....i am more familiar with him as guitarist/vocalist with Dead and Company (the latest incarnation of The Grateful Dead ) as i am sure you will know.he will never fill the late great Mr.Garcia's shoes,but he does a fine job.. 8)..

Stuart Maconie's  Freak Zone what an incredible show this is,maybe not to most people ......tonight i have heard CAN,Aphrodites Child,Brian Eno and Robert Fripp to name but a few....if anyone would like to listen to something different i would strongly reccomend this show..... 8).... 8)....
