''A Tear And A Smile'' TIR NA NOG,their second and best (imho) album.....perfect music whilst i am watching the boats bob and the sun glint on the water in the harbour outside my window.... 8)...a calm and peaceful escape from all the madness that is going on around us... :'(..

Hi lotus was really looking forward to seeing which version of Matty you had posted from one of my all time favourite bands.....got Days Of Pearly Spencer a song i love but not quite as much as one of Fairports finest..

I`m sitting here, not looking for a special version of a song I love, only following my feelings what next would fit to my emtions now (and what should I post without posting too much here)
Take care of you -Covid didn`spare the Canal Islands (6 or 7 cases `til now) :(

No, Covid is here in the Islands ,not too many cases so far but it will rise for sure.Our Government had already taken the decision to close Schools.....now they need to sort out the problem of panic buying...take care and keep safe..........think i will play some Fairport Convention..only 60's and 70's stuff of course..  8)..

We skipped Bon Jovi's Bad Medicine and Love is a Social Disease and went straight to the White Stripes - Girl, You Have no Faith in Medicine and Iggy Pop's Sick of You.

After many more listens it is not really a song just about JFK but so much more...the more i listen to it the more i love it.....
