Saw Plan B supporting Stone Roses a few years back, thought it was rather good.  Don't know his stuff too well, do I remember rightly that his first album (before the big commercial one) was quite acoustic-y?

And I'll follow with PLANet Of Sound - The Pixies.  Now this isn't the proper video from it, it's a fan mash-up that someone made from the original song and scenes from a great movie called 'The Field' from the 90's... song doesn't get going until 0.39... but damn, this would have been a good official video...
