If Stuart was willing and able then to have the original bass player back would be a real bonus.....I wonder if he can still do his little shuffle across the stage.....??  But all said and done as long as the new bassist is commited and technically good then happy days.......

Morrow was brilliant in the early NMA. But today  the band is not the same so they need someone new. Really.

Stuart's bass was fabulous and I wish I'd got to see him play it live, but that was the past and something new is needed for the future. Can't wait to see what we get!

Well I'd be delighted, however unlikely it may be. Stuart's time with NMA always felt like unfinished business, and he is an astonishingly good musician.

While I would love to see Stuart live in the band, I do believe that the band has gone so far and changed so much that going back or resetting might not be a great option. I guess Stuart has also changed too so longing for the past to restart again would be doomed from the start.

Blink - I don't see it as a longing for the past (although there willl always be a bit of nostalgia attached to Stuart I guess) but surely if NMA continue to grow and produce new material then it will be the best of both worlds......?? Just a thought - As I said in an earlier post - as long as the new bassist really WANTS the job and is technically gifted/creative then great!! (I think this will always be an interesting debate....!!)

I too would like to see Stuart play with NMA again, but that's based on his musical skills. To be honest I don't see this happen. NMA don't deal too much in nostalgia for which the fans can only be glad. I presume he would not fit in also on the current mutual vibes. Straight on for the days ahead, I'd say

Moose back anyone? He was in charge of the 4 strings when I first started watching the band live and very good he was too. But to be honest I think I'm in agreement with those above who feel that fresh meat is required to keep the banquet going. Look for example at what the arrival of Marshall did for NMA...

 I remember when Marshall 1st came over and toured here in NYC  They picked right with Mr Gill and I am sure whoever gets the spot after Nelson they will get it right again. I trust Justins and all the other band members judgement  on who they feel comfortable with playing.

By far the best the NMA has ever had.He made the bass sound like a lead.They had a most original sound as the ones who were around when Vengeance was released would confirm.
