Totally too far away, but I vote for Sheffield for the warm up - we have to be there on Friday for D's sister's wedding so BDays weekend is going to be reduced to an expensive 2 days for us this year. Can't miss it though - NMA playing on our wedding anniversary is just too tempting.

Good shout JME - Torquay for me from a purely selfish point of view!!!

However the Lemongrove would be a good venue and only a short drive - and I beleive its your turn to drive and listen to my drunken drivel on the way home  ;D x

You're not wrong there Simon!

Too many of the Army gigs are North of the Watford Gap, give us Southerners some more of the action.

P.S Hope you and Des are well - long time no speak, must be another half term coming up soon!

Lush!

To be honest, they'd be daft to play Exeter the night before, as Exeter and Plymouth both empty on B-Daze weekend....... :)

Oh yeah, have a photo of aforementioned baby. Gonna try and make time to edit the pics from our German adventure this weekend. Got some good ones ... Especially of the sausage eating episode.

If you envy teachers you could always do a PGCE (I have no idea if you are a graduate but if not there's the small matter of your honours degree first) and join us.  I spent the first 20 years of my teaching career working evenings, weekends and holidays. I now have a much healthier work life balance but many of my colleagues have not heard the wise man sing "Whatever they want from you, you don't have to give".

But - hey , don't be bitter that somebody is enjoying their holidays!  ;)
