Download Festival - Donnington

Just wondered if there were any other Family off to Download in a couple of weeks?
My intellect is shy - when asked to show its self, it runs and hides!

I'm hoping for a little cooler - in the arena in this heat it'll be like being in a desert !

Have been told forecast for next Wednesday is a lot cooler - i'll just be happy to be somewhere inbetween trench foat & heat stroke  :)

Should be a good weekend though!

yeah - it'll make the drink go down though!
virgin trip to DL for me after being at sonisphere for the past few years but going with the same crew.

looking forward to anthrax as pretty impressed with the new album - not totally sure how sabbath are going to be though!

Have been to a few Downloads  - should be a good year though this year, some great bands over the weekend.
I saw anthrax at the 1st Monsters of rock i went to so looking forward to seeing them too

87 - my first Donington as well - seemed to remember having a great time - even having Bon Jovi as headers was improved by Bruce Dickinson, Dee Snider and Paul Stanley appearing for the encore!

well that was a bit muddy!!
bit strange - everything appeared to be miles away thought the mud probably contributed to that - but west car park was indeed a trek.
saw 2 NMA shirts on the sun - family T & C one near the entrance and a 30th anniversary one  in the arena.
some good stuff on but not sure how prepared the organisers were for the weather!

"Old fart"........... Oh dear I was at Monsters Of Rock for AC/Dc/Van Halen/Ozzy/Gary moore/Y&T/Accept and Motley Crue............ I am dinosaur........... 1984! It was great btw! ;)
